The theme of the competition was to develop an existing public space that is considered a dead space and make it a functional space usable by the public. The process involved us getting the required permission to use and make changes to the site.

The site we chose was at the end of a busy street filled with commercial spaces. We created a space that acted as a pause for people who move within that area. There is no defined age group but the majority of the user group is university and high school students.

We planned to make the space interactive with the usergroup and involve the concept of recycle by making people use water cups that were used by the public as the main material to create the tensile roof structure.​​
