ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Tarun, a designer who swapped blueprints for wireframes and still believes coffee fixes most design hiccups. I started out shaping buildings and now I’m busy shaping user experiences at ASU, studying how humans and computers miscommunicate (and occasionally get along). Along the way, I’ve built spaces in Dubai and sketches in Bengaluru, and hosted a couple of episodes of my podcast about what makes creative people tick.
These days, I channel my love for smart solutions and pixel-perfect layouts into UI/UX projects. Whether it’s a snazzy interface or a podcast episode, I’m all about mixing logic and creativity and I still make time for a few good photos too. If you’re ever curious about curious designers, or just want to talk shop, you’ve found the right guy.

Directed project management for several high-end residential and mixed-use developments in the UAE. Collaborated closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of design and technical solutions. Created bespoke 3D models for specialized spaces, enhancing the market appeal of each project. Provided mentorship to new team members, helping them adapt and thrive in Dubai’s dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Led several private residential projects in Bangalore, IN, serving as the primary point of contact throughout each project. Oversaw site activities and facilitated cross-disciplinary coordination, actively collaborating with clients to understand their objectives and ensure the project evolved in line with their vision and requirements.
Lead Tutor/Jr. Architect -
2021-2022
I worked as a Junior Architect and Lead Tutor, where I taught Rhinoceros software to students across India and the Middle East and led the Rhino Grasshopper Team within the company. I was responsible for curating digital content for Instagram and YouTube, as well as working on architectural and interior projects. My role also included developing visualization projects for clients, blending technical expertise with creative content development.

When I'm not immersed in design work, I love to seek out new adventures and creative escapes. The outdoors is my playground—hiking scenic trails, cycling through city streets, and shooting hoops with friends give me energy and fresh perspective. These moments help me recharge, clear my mind, and spark ideas that feed directly into my creative process.
Music plays a huge role in my life, both as inspiration and as a hands-on pursuit. Drumming, with its meditative rhythms and bursts of energy, lets me explore creativity in a different form, while discovering new artists and sounds opens up fresh influences for everything I do.
